Unfortunately, no, not specifically the HoloNet. But as for in-universe examples of it being used, you can look at all the Adventure Journals that include news bulletins from the Empire, as well as in-universe HoloNet-pirated manuals from Platt O'Keefe the famous smuggler and other characters. Granted, this is all Legends continuity, but it's better than nothing.

| I'm listening to the book, Tarkin, and just today the Holonet was mentioned as I listened. Count Dooku was able to tap into the Holonet system to spread Separatist propaganda during the Clone Wars. When this is done, it's referred to as operating the Shadownet. |

Imagine being the IT guy on call when the Republic found out that the Separatists were piggybacking the network.
"Yeah, so, we're gonna need you to work overtime."
Bandwidth crunch is intolerable now, I don't even want to think about what it's like when you're trying to load up a holofilm you're streaming from the Core and it's chugging with lag.

Thank you, that is what I was looking for.
Wanted to see what it looked like in the books. |
