That would work REALLY well. You have a semi-isolated population with significant trade restrictions (read: Space for a black market to flourish). Carnage could happily hijack freighters, then have a good sized market for pretty much any goods. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

I suggested a Tof ship mostly for the privateer or pirate feel. The Merriweather or even the Fairwind belong smack dab in a Master-and-Commander type era or look.
If one wanted a ship that was similar to, or could easily be modified to have a beak-like structure, I might suggest a Marauder Corvette or a Braha'tok, both of which should have ample size to make short work of even the most well-armed freighter. The Preybird might be a good fighter to use.
If you want a more modest size to a ship, I think the Nova Courier could have its bow slightly modified to be more beak-like. |

Alternately, this could be an opportunity to include alien races from D6 Space, specifically the Gruemor (space bears) and Pherro (space dogs), which can be found in D6 Space Aliens. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. That's a good point McNeill, it shouldn't be too hard to design his ship using D6 Space Ships either.
I imagine it would be a small capital ship, maybe a large corvette or a frigate, just judging by how easily the Sea Duck fits in the cargo hold. _________________ RR

OK, I amend my entry. I'd forgotten all about the old Amphibious Interstellar Assault Transport/infantry gunship, aka the AIAT/i !
I love this ship, not only for its caricaturist's likeness to a pontoon'ed 1930's era cargo plane, ala the Seaduck from Tailspin, but also for its absurdly bulky proportions! |

Haha, I really like the "Tailspin-conversion" direction this thread has gone. A campaign boxed set is only a few short decades away!
Agreed that Don Karnage wouldn't necessarily need much in the way of appearance change to fit into Star Wars as a space pirate,
though I could also never tell if he was supposed to be a fox (more like the Amaran) or a wolf. If the latter, then the Shistavanen
would be a good fit.
Seeing the Iron Vulture in all its D6-stat glory would be great!

I thought he was a fox. But my Internet says "wolf." If he had been a fox, I was going to suggest a Nalroni would fit. |

Maybe the vulture is an imperial escort carrier or a Ton-Falk hijacked from a convoy traveling near the suzette sector or heck a carrier converted acclimator stolen from a supply depot and loaded with V-Wings or V-19's unless theres a burning urge to custom build the ship and fighters heh. |

Since this thread has gotten heavily off topic, I started an alternate thread for the TaleSpin themed adventure.

I have never much cared for the Lantillian Short Hauler.
Until now...
EDIT: Whill, this topic is a decent candidate for converting massive imbedded images into links. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

I think as iconic designs go, there just is no competition for the T-65 X-Wing, the TIE Interceptor, and the Imperial II Star Destroyer.
They are incredible visual designs, but when it comes to beauty, that term just not seem quite right.
I say the MC80 Home One configuration is certainly a top contender.
As it's main competitor I would field the Lambda Shuttle, which is a completely different type of beauty.
And it would be criminal to not include the StarViper.

Fury-class Imperial interceptor
X-70B Phantom-class prototype
Both from the imperial side in SWTRO, I simply love these two ships looks |
