Over the week of Origins, i managed to get a battlemat i thought was dry erase, but turns ot to be wet erase only..
Now i have a few lines of dry erase that doesn't want to come off..
Anyone know of good tips to remove it?? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

howtod&d on YouTube removed permanent marker off a battlemat with methylated spirits. (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDBXXm72u4E)
Not sure if it will do the same for dry erase. _________________ Currently playing D&D 5E and painting an unholy amount of miniatures. |

Over on dragonsfoot someone suggested using wd40, and that did the trick..
Now i just need to shop around to buy a pack of wet erase markers.. However most stores seem to only stock dry erase other than walmart with their expo wet erase marker sets.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

This is for the best. Dry erase maps caused me no end of problems. Minis, hands, dice, books, templates, everything got dry erase marks on them, and the maps would get erased during play. You smudge it unknowingly with the side of your hand, which then transfers it to books, clothes, etc. |
