One thing that you can do with 1E, if you want, is to remove the wound escalation rule. If a wounded character is wounded again, then the wound is not escalated to Incapacitated.
What you do instead is apply a 1D penalty for every wound after the first.
Wounded the first time? Follow RAW. All codes are reduced -1D.
Wounded a second time? Considered Wounded. All codes reduced -2D.
Wounded a third time? Considered Wounded. All codes reduced -3D.
Wounded a fourth time? Considered Wounded. All codes reduced -4D.
And so on.
Once the character has so many negative dice that he can't act, the character is upgraded to Incapacitated.
This is a little more heroic version of the damage rules. But, the negatives add up quick, and the character becomes slower and slower--and doesn't have the dice to do Dodges or more than one action in a round, rather quickly. |

I dislike it, as that means someone could technically be wounded a LOT of times, if he has real high skill dice in his main skills..
I COULD maybe see it if you limited it to 1 wound per D of strength much like stun is.. Where once you hit that limit THEN you shift to incap..

I don't think I like this. Results could look quite far away from the feel of the films. |

I don't like it either. I was just throwing it out on the stoop to see if the cat will lick it up. |
