All I did was wear my Rebellion tshirt and I'll probably hop on Battlefront tonight too. (Just to grief some kids, probably) |

We watched Rogue One today at the library. Better than I remembered, in fact. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Since getting the Rogue One BluRay, I've watched it so many times, I started to fall asleep watching it tonight. I just about made it to the part where K-2S0 has to pretend to hold Cassian and Jyn prisoner before I had to take a nap.
But yes, it is an awesome movie. It's so awesome to be able to watch Rogue One and ANH back to back. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies
Only some of it is for D6 Star Wars.
Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

When I was an elementary kid, I saw the original trilogy movies once each in the theater. They were special and unique experiences. I saw the original movie on TV sometime in the mid-80s. Then in 1987, I bought the trilogy on VHS and proceeded to watch all three movies once almost every month (wearing the tapes out and getting new copies in 1995), so by 1997 I had seen the original versions of the classic trilogy almost 100 times. I watched the Special Editions a lot until TPM came out on VHS in 2000 when I finally slowed down on the classics but had a new movie to watch too much. It wasn't until AotC when I finally slowed down on watching Star Wars movies. Now I can go months without watching any Star Wars. Since 1997 I've seen each Star Wars movie 3-6 times in the theater.
So now I'm at a happy medium between one Star Wars movie viewing every three years and three movie viewings every month. I wouldn't want to run Rogue One into the ground that. I've fallen asleep during a few movies (Rambo III and Hulk in the theaters, Star Trek TMP several times at home), but I've never fallen asleep during Star Wars.

We did the double feature on the day RO came out on blu-ray, and then just watched Rogue One again this week. Next up is the original version of Star Wars on May 25th. _________________ *

What struck me was how much seemed unfinished there... the sabers were white, there was little of the ambient sound and music... just the actors and some of the earlier effects. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

And that trailer didn't even have the Star Wars theme playing. I guess John Williams was still working on it when they made this trailer? _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Just want to wish everyone a Happy Orthodox Star Wars Day!
Today, I dressed my 14-month-old daughter in a "Han Shot First" t-shirt and dropped her off at daycare. Tonight, I'll put her to bed in a crib with a musical mobile I built that plays the Star Wars theme in music-box style (dead simple to do if you find the parts).
Then, I'll go downstairs and watch either Star Wars or ESB in the non-special edition versions. |

This trailer was 1976, and the film score wasn't recorded until March '77. So Star Wars music didn't yet exist so they just had some filler music.
