This is going to be a two part question, I think. First, let's just deal with the first part of the question.
I'm listening to the last book in Zahn's Thrawn trilogy, The Last Command. Luke is a on a world, and the Empire is trailing him. Luke notices that he is being followed through the Force.
Which Force Power is Luke demonstrating here? |

Not that I understand the Force D6 powers in any detail, but offhand, I'd say sense Force. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies
Only some of it is for D6 Star Wars.
Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

A good option is magnify senses, danger sense or life detection. |

It's on Page 158 of the REUP, and page 10 of the D20-D6 Conversion Force Powers book.
You're right that it's not in the 2nd Ed R&R. I checked all three books for danger sense and only found it in the 2 above books. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Yeah, I didn't see it in any of the WEG stuff.
What power do you think is being used, if you only had official WEG stuff to choose from? |

IMO that's more magnify senses area than life detection. Also as that imp trailing him was just trailing him, i don't see it being danger sense.

Danger sense can be found in the WEG book, Tales of the Jedi companion, Page 48... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I'd almost say Receptive Telepathy, but that seems to be based on a target. And, it doesn't look like it can be kept up.
Life Sense is another cadidate, since that's the power Luke uses to sense Vader's presence. But, again, this doesn't look like it can be kept up, either. |

I believe it first appeared as a power in the Zahn novel based Thrawn sourcebooks. It's on page 35 of Dark Force Rising. Which is a clue that the power being used by Luke in the scene is in fact Danger Sense. |

I don't think it was The Force that did anything. I think that the agent botched his roll, or perhaps Luke was lucky with his PER roll, and then the explanation was, "you feel a tremor in the Force - someone is after you!". Doesn't mean there's a Force power backing that up. |

It's been a long, long time ago since I read the Zahn trilogy, but my recollection from my first reading was that there were a couple of scenes (and that was one of them) that sounded like they fit with the description of the power. |
