Wait. Cause something in in a PC game its now canon?
BY that logic personal shields, regenerating packs for that and blasters, and other things from the dark forces series should also be canon.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Well they were never Canon cause at the time, only the movies were Canon. They were, however part of the EU (now called Legends). Video games have always been part of the EU.
Books, comics and video games are now all part of the new Canon. So yes, because the Raider is in a Post-Disney video game, it is Canon.
The only new officially licensed things that aren't Canon are Fantasy Flights game products, Star Wars The Old Republic and Lego Star Wars stuff. _________________ His eyes are shifty. That's how you know the nerf did it. |

It's true, it's how TIE Defenders got canonized before they appeared in Rebels: because they were in Force Commander, a canon Star Wars video game.

I'm not sure why Lego Star Wars makes me think of a Potato Head Darth Vader, but there's got to be some sort of mental connection that runs through the twisted confines and corridors of my Star Wars-addled mind.... _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Here are stats for the Raider I & II
In the future, you can use the Search button to look up topics before asking via the forum; it can be a bit cluttered, but can save you a lot of time. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Any ship featured in the X-Wing Armada game is going to have two different variants. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

I'm glad I'm not gonna be writing an X-wing Armada-D6 Conversion Guide then.

Wow.. That's imo stupid, especially since stuff made (often) for PC games are done just to "Look cool" not actually fit in with the genre/other stuff out there. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I already have quite a few of them done. I was resistant to the idea of the MC30 as a Mon Cal Frigate, since I'd already made up stats for it as a Corellian ship, but I'm now considering making it a Clone Wars-era product, in the same vein as my version of the Profundity. It even looks like a Free Dac Volunteers product. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. CRM, I think we're already of one mind on this subject, but just in case it needs to be said, I have one small request:
FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S GOOD AND GREEN ON THIS EARTH, DON'T MAKE YOUR VERSION OF THE PROFUNDITY A CONVERTED "BUILDING," PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE !!!! _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

You have nothing to fear on that front. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.
