Ahoy, all. Shared this on the D6 g+ group, but I thought to field some stats from you fine folks as well!
Though it's obvious as to what it's inspired by, I am very much digging this mini-Falcon-styled ship, the Y2K Peregrine.
See the model here: http://miniaturescenery.com/ProductPage.asp?Code=PEREGRINE
So... an ultra-light freighter? Passenger/personnel/personal transport only? CEC knock-off? Some suggested Scout/Prospector craft. Calling all ship stat specialists?

When I saw the measurements in millimeters, I was like "...what? That can't be the actual ship measurements..."
Then I realized it was the measurements of the model itself, not the ship it's depicting. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

Does it suffer from a catastrophic computer crash?
Or maybe an invasion by energy bugs? _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

I just realized, this ship doesn't have any sleeping bunks, at least none that I can see. Where does the crew sleep during those multi-day long hauls? On the floor? Or in the cargo bay among the crates? _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Hammocks.
And, on "size v. scale", I think it would be interesting if it were actual size... a ship scaled for Micronauts, who have their own problems interacting with galactic society... _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Haha. Discerning the actual scale for Humanoid-size crews was actually a "tiny bit" difficult, as the model of course has a few items that are slightly-larger than they would be at full scale. Take the fold down stairs at the rear-exit, for example. There are only three steps and they're pretty far apart were the scale perfect -- as it is, due to the constraints of such a small model the stairs and other elements are somewhat upsized! |

Nice. I like that you're running with the theme here! Either course would be interesting. Giant bugs Otherspace-style, or that the ship is actually 1-to-1 scaled. That miniature scale is something Star Wars never really approached -- though the Droids episode with the Molecular Disruptors came the closest to giving us a Star Wars "Innerspace" style adventure, by shrinking Artoo to about 1/10th his scale. |

I don't remember that Droids episode...but then again, I haven't seen a Droids episode since the series originally aired on TV.
Hell, I barely remember the Great Heep. And Artoo parachuting from the sky after ramming the Great Heep with a starship. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Heh, were it not for working on the Droids sourcebook with ShootingWomprats, I myself would not have seen any episodes since early childhood.
Artoo actually rams the starship into the "Moisture Eater" device, causing it to release its contents as rain, which in turns rusts out the Great Heep before he can smash our heroes. There's a semi-poignant bit (at least as far as the show was capable of) where the rain falls on Threepio's optics and it's meant to look like he's crying, thinking that he's lost Artoo. |

There is actually a single bunk built into the port bulkhead, behind the cockpit. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

The interior layout is somewhat more clarified in the assembly instructions:
http://miniaturescenery.com/Public/Instructions/PEREGRINE.pdf
Mr. McNeill is correct! I too see what appears to be a port bulkhead bunk, along the wall behind the cockpit, past the holochess-type table and near the engineering station! |
