Happy Birthday, birthday boy!
...wait, Whill, you didn't get him a blu-ray set instead? Cheapskate.
EDIT: Then again, I didn't get him anything.
EDIT 2: Then again again, I had no idea garhkal's birthday was even coming up! 8) _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

And unfortunately it wasn't even the DVD set with the bonus discs of the unaltered versions. I tried. They were just oppressively expensive. But any classic trilogy is better than no classic trilogy, especially for a veteran Star Wars fan who hadn't seen the movies in about 9 years.

Hmm, Super Bowl or Star Wars trilogy... A question for the ages best left to saints and philosophers....
Well, a man's gotta have priorities. And most Super Bowls I remember (when I even bothered to watch) were one-sided, boring games. And I'm not much for Super Bowl parties (I'm trying to lose weight so I can't indulge in the nachos and other party food). And I finally might have found a DC SWD6 group that starts in a week so I have to (re)familiarize myself with the rules in a 500+ page corebook (or at least most of it).
Given all that, I can sympathize with garhkal if he prefers the Star Wars trilogy over the Super Bowl. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Wait, wait, wait.
Wait.
Wait.
So garhkal lives in Ohio...and he's a soccer man???
DOES...NOT...
...COMPUTE.
DOES...NOT...COMPUTE.
Ok, I know I'm deservedly going to catch hell for this because I'm not into sports all that much and I'm an Argentine immigrant who doesn't care for soccer, so I feel how incongruent, contradictory and fleeting any words of mine may sound on this subject, but so I do not misunderstand: garhkal is an Ohioan who likes soccer?
Such people actually exist? Who knew?
You learn something new every day, I guess.

garhkal is not from Ohio. He's a retired military man who's travelled around and been all over. And as I recall, his mom's British. And, a lot of people like soccer in Ohio. In our city, we have what the USA considers a professional soccer team, the Columbus Crew. (It seems that garhkal may not be a fan though.) _________________ *

When I taught ESL, it flabbergasted my students that I loved futbol, but didn't have a favorite team. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"
