So I was just watching ESB, when I noticed something I had never noticed before. As the underside of ISD2s conning tower passes across the screen immediately after the probe droid... Start the evacuation scene, you can see what looks like a fighter bay on the left side of the screen, almost immediately above the ISD in the distance.
I have never heard of anyone mentioning this before. Is this the case, or did I just miss something that has been discussed many times before. _________________ "Yes because killing the guy you always planned on usurping and killing anyways in order to save your own kid, totally atones for murdering a roomful of innocent trusting children." I've seen that before, but it seems far too small to be used for any sort of useful deployment of TIEs. I'd posit its more like a VIP hangar with a few TIE/sh's for rapid movement of the ship's senior officers. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. True, but it would be the optimal entry point for a Rebel incursion in an adventure. That little piece of intellectual that would make the jub easier. Just spitballing. _________________ "Yes because killing the guy you always planned on usurping and killing anyways in order to save your own kid, totally atones for murdering a roomful of innocent trusting children." Of course, a VIP docking bay is likely to be heavily guarded, with multiple layers of security access... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Which would make it super-fun for an adventure. _________________ __________________________________
Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind. |

Just took a look at this myself. All things considered, that looked more like a wierdly oriented viewport than anything else. The thing is too small for any sort of ship when compared to when the Millennium Falcon clamped onto the back of the Avenger's conning tower in TESB.
If this is anything, it looks (to me, anyway) only large enough to accommodate an Imperial Spacetrooper. Then again, the angle of the shot might be throwing me off. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies
Only some of it is for D6 Star Wars.
Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |
