Finally found the reference for the Buccaneer; it's a blurb under a character description in the Pentastar Alignment article, page 146-147 in SWAJ # 3, and page 97 in Classic Adventures #4.
The relevant parts of the stat are:Maneuverability: 2D+2
Space: 7
Atmosphere: 350
Hull: 4D
Shields: 3D+2
Weapons:
Ten Double Turbolaser Cannon (FC: 3D, Dm: 5D)
Of course, upon reflection, and as CEC's model number usage has been fleshed out, calling a ship a "Buccaneer-Class" would be a major departure from convention. CR-100 ultimately ends up being a better choice for an in-universe follow-on to the CR-90. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Buccaneer could be an unofficial designation that stuck of course. |

Or a sub-type, indicating a specific outfitting of the CR100... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.
