This has been bugging me.
I feel like I read somewhere, in some chart or table, the average sell price of an item if one were to find a buyer, and for some reason it's sticking in my head at 40% of its Cost. I have no idea if this is accurate.
Does anyone have any recollection of item pricing/sale information? The pricing info I've found so far is the following:
* black market cost buy/sell (GG6)
* sale price of used starship parts (GG6)
* sale price of damaged or scrap equipment (GG6).
Am I going crazy or has this been covered somewhere? |

Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've ever tried to sell anything in a D6 game.... you could go with the standard RPG practice of 1/2 retail price... unless one of the PCs is a merchant or something...
Of course, the bargain skill can modify the price for better or worse... |

I don't know if it's covered somewhere, but keep in mind that the selling price also depends greatly on who you are selling to. If you are selling to an end user, then the price would probably be higher. If selling to someone or a business that is going to resell it, the selling price will be lower. But on the front end it may be harder to find an end user than someone who will resell, which is where business and streetwise rolls might come into play to find a buyer. _________________ *

I often default to 50% of cost in the books when selling it. Modified by bargaining and Value rolls.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
