Thanks.
I'm bubbling over here....
I've been doing this literally for years with no outlet to share D6 based house rules and such.
I don't want it to be annoying; I just hope that people will use anything that they like, change it to suit themselves, or just nod and move on.
I know I'll be using a lot of things from this forum, once I twist them around to my mutant version of the game. |

Just keep doing what you are doing. We are all here because we love this game just like you do. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Don't think for one second that your work is going to be seen as annoying or that it will go unappreciated; you're in a community of like-minded individuals. ALL of us LOVE THIS GAME. We must, since we're all still playing it, adapting it, and making it our own after all these years.
Trust me; you're home. |

I'm beginning to see a pattern. So let me guess. Empire was the first Star Wars movie you all saw in theater? _________________ *

I have some vivid memories of seeing the original Star Wars. My uncle carried me on his shoulders on the way home...I was an 'X-wing'. |

Same age as those above.
I saw the original (and best) film multiple times upon its initial release (as well as re-releases). Maybe more accurate to say my parents saw it multiple times and they brought me along? Perhaps as a direct result of this early exposure, the period '77–'79 is my absolute fave when it comes to this franchise.
Still, I have vivid memories of seeing Empire at the drive-in, preceded by a screening of Hardware Wars.

I guess I asked a dumb question. I'm only slightly older and the original Star Wars was my first theatrical SW, but my younger brother was there too. Sadly, even after recreating the experience as best we could this past weekend (same historic theater maintaining 70s appearances and same general seat location but obviously instead seeing TFA), he still couldn't recall any memories of seeing the '77 film back then. My memories are recounted here. My brother is 42 and the first SW he remembers seeing was TESB. I'm glad you then-youngling remember the '77 film theatrically! _________________ *
