It's fine, with a couple of "but...". I need to see it again in english... the spanish dubbing is poor.
Don't worry, I will wait to share my criticisms because of the spoilers.
Enjoy your viewings of the movie |

my review of the movie is as follows:
If you like the original trilogy, you will likely like this one.

Also have a couple of "but"s, but yeah, those are very minor detractions, and I quite loved the movie.

It's really hard for me not to enjoy a movie, but I loved it. Kinda want to run a campaign set during the First Order's rise.
Also, texting players: no, you can't do it.
We need to get some conversions going! |

There's so much I want to discuss! I know, I know... Spoiler free.
I loved it! It was like visiting an old friend that I hadn't seen in forever. _________________ "Sarcasm is just one of the many services I provide."

I adored it as well, once the open text crawl started, I actually teared up. |

I mean, we CAN post spoilers here. Just remember to change your font color.
I'm in the "Enjoyed it, but..." camp. I went expecting a J.J. Abrams film, and got what I was expecting.
I've been lying to my children for three months. I told them that the Force Awakens was sold out (which is true, but I implied that we did not have tickets). I told them that we were going to a meeting downtown. They did not get what they were expecting. _________________ __________________________________

I enjoyed the movie, I would give it a solid 7/10. My problem is it seemed more a reboot of ANH. Another issue I had was in the course of four episodes, they use the same super weapon three times? Seriously? _________________ Don Diestler

I just got back from taking my mom, my wife and my girls.
They all enjoyed it, and I agree with them
I would say it is better than I - III, bust a hair below IV.

I'm with you on that. Plus each time the weapon gets bigger, soooooo what will the next super weapon be ????? _________________ "And so I am become a knight of the Kingdom of Dreams and Shadows!" - Mark Twain

Right, to white, like this... Just highlight the text after "The Force Awakens" below to read the film's opening crawl.

Watched it Saturday with my wife, and then Sunday with my wife and kids. I absolutely loved what I saw, and so did they. We're heading back to the theater after Christmas with even more family members!
Definitely looking forward to the next one. _________________ Currently playing D&D 5E and painting an unholy amount of miniatures. |
