Okay so I know you suffer negatives and even damage rolls due to exposure depending on the environment - but do we have any actual listings on where to find numbers for this? |

I checked Rules of Engagement, GG8: Scouts and the Planets Collection, and the only rules for environment causing damage were for vacuum. Is there anything in particular you are looking for, or just in general? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. General basically -
I'm actually creating a new race and wanted them to have the equivalent of hot/dry/cold vulnerability like d&d - but since I cant just say they take twice as much from exposure or something - I'll have to give a full write up in their description.
Was hoping it wasn't necessary and there were official environment rules I could use. |

Start with a base damage of 1D, then increase it by 1D for every hour / day / whatever of exposure. Adjust as needed. The character will be okay at first, but gradually get worse and worse until the environmental condition kills them or is removed. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. That is one of the few things i felt D6 was lacking. Most other game systems did have damage 'ratings' for what environmental conditions were such as too hot or too cold.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Well they at least seconded your idea in gg8 neill - is that where you got the idea?
Also where did you find the vacuum rules?
I thinking of making somes rules for exposure - based off terrain and environment examples in gg8. |

I may have, but my first use of it was a long time ago when I tried to make stats for a Predator, for when they lose their face mask. I didn't even see it in GG8 when I just looked.

Pretty sure they were in the Planets Collection, in the planet design system, under Atmosphere type. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation.
