Would they be executed? Or would they be given a fair trial and a chance at appeal?
By traitor, I mean traitor - committing an act of war without the council of moff's consent or in direct opposition to their decisions. |

What era, exactly? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Imperial Remnant - so about 18ABY
a moff and admiral defected after learning of Grand Admiral Pellaeon's plans to reduce altercations agaisnt the new republic and was planning to start accords with them.
They then proceeded to lure in an independent fleet and attack it and then a nearby system on the edge of imperial space in order to attempt to gain resources to begin a coup and secure a foothold off imperial radar. The system was uncharted, but not uninhabited. It was homeworld to a primitive race.
Now Pellaeon and Daala have arrived, followed shortly thereafter by an allied fleet of Independent and New Republic forces.
Pellaeon has already captured the rogue soldiers and many of their officers, including the moff. - the defector admiral got away.
With the New Republic breathing down his neck - what would He or Daala do? |

Seconded. Of course, that would depend on what crimes a New Republic court could find them guilty of. An Imperial court on charges of treason would be far more likely to return a guilty verdict with a death sentence. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation.
