Ive been away for awhile (2 yrs) and getting back into things...

I have a vague memorie of a discussion about a simplified force system, whith less Rolling of Powers. (why does outocorrect make some letters capital on this forum only?)

I remember someone posting a 'work in progress' system that still used all Three Powers and the skills, but you only rolled vs one Power each time.

Does this spart a memory?

LOL!!! I'm all for single roll force powers... speed things up and make more powers actually iseable at levels where PCs typically play.

Simplification is usually good. Speaking of which, what's the consensus on multi-roll Force Powers incurring MAPs? I never used that, unless a player was trying to use two completely different Force Powers simultaneously (e.g. Projective Telepathy and Lightsaber Combat). The difficulty numbers were always high enough that incurring MAPs just for using Control + Sense + Alter to make a single power go off seemed silly.

ITs cause of that MAPPIng for multi-skill force powers, that you can actually gang up on a dark jedi and take him out.
