Hello! This is my first post in here, so I hope I'm doing everything as it is supposed to be
Sooo: me and my players weren't satisfied with the galaxy maps commonly available in the net, especially with the ones with sectors and secondary hyperlanes. So I decided to put the best I could find and glue them together.
This that I'm posting is just my first attempt and I know that it's far from perfect; still I hope it delivers the idea of what I'm up to.

By the way, any of you can link me some sector maps of the inner regions? _________________ "I find your lack of Beer... disgusting" - Apakin Skywalker |

It won't display for me, unfortunately. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Good morning from Europe!
I really appreciate your work joining the atlas maps. I also need a more accurated map for my Star Wars FAE/Fate campaign, so I've decided rebuilding that one with all kind of layers (sectors, regions, grid...) with a vectorial program (Illustrator).
That's only a first WIP of my map. It shows all features I want to include except hyperlanes (easy, easy... that's a lot of work ).
I'll appreciate any correction and suggestion.
Galaxy map
PS: There are sector maps for inner regions?
EDIT: Updated New link

Good morning and welcome to the Pit! Thanks for sharing your WIP.
No, as far as I know, they have only released sector maps for the Outer Rim, Mid Rim and Expansion Region. _________________ *

This site is the sancta sanctorum of Star Wars rpgs. All respected SW fan must have an account here
Thanks for your answer about inner sector maps. It's a pity.
Second day of the SW Galaxy map WIP, this time with and example of hyperlanes.
The idea is to make a Players version without some layers (sectors, minor hyperlanes...) and a GM version with all these layers.
Any suggestions about what would you like to include in each version?
Thanks in advance. |

This is actually extremely useful, I'd love to see a final.
I use a large print of the previously-available star chart, and I make my players plan their routes accordingly. Wonderfully immersive. |

Thanks Mojomoe for your encouraging words and for your Galaxy Guide 16: The Old Republic. It's really awesome!!
The next step after this whole galaxy map is use this template to make galactic exploration maps of different eras (based on The essential atlas exploration graphic map), to allow players discover the galaxy.
New version: All major hyperlanes and GM&PC samples

Don't be shy! Any suggestion is welcomed.

Superb work!
I did notice that you spelled Christophsis (on the edge of the Outer Rim, near Tatooine) without either 'h'.
I look forward to seeing this develop. Please also check out my Nav Computer, in the Select System area for smaller maps. They're as canon as I could manage, though I added what I felt were some logical hyperroutes. |

A new advance for the Galaxy map:
- Great hyperlanes named
- Secondary hyperlanes samples
- Map Eras of play
- Outer Rim fringe diffused but visible
- I include a reference image for eras inspired in Mojomoe's work (GG16:TOR) beacuse I like to work with vector logos -if anybody is interested in the vector file of the insignia, do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you very much Mikael for the link. Amazing work! You are right about Christophsis
I prefer to finish this 100% official map before including your planets, routes, etc, and others that Nav Comp do not include (ie. Belkadan, Sisk...). Do you have a whole map including all your changes? I ask this because is more easy than consulting every little map in your website. |

That is entirely understandable!

I'm afraid not. I created the smaller maps in order to give the best scale for the level of local detail needed for the locale in question. As a result, the little maps are not in scale to one another, and are just not compilable into a whole. |
