Hey, I've got an idea for a game I've been knocking around and I'm curious if this is something people would be interested.
It'd be a large scale RPG where each of the players plays as an imperial warlord. They've got to deal with each other and with the New Republic.
It wouldn't be very traditional, but each player would play their character and roll to win massive space battles with their fleets. _________________ His eyes are shifty. That's how you know the nerf did it. |

How exactly will you be resolving the massive battles? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Still thinking about that. I was thinking opposed Command rolls using a table not unlike the one used in Legends of the Five Rings.
Opposed rolls, loser suffers casualties of a sort, which causes them to suffer penalties to future rolls.
I dunno. the more I think about it, the more I don't think I'll have time to work something up. Maybe in the future. _________________ His eyes are shifty. That's how you know the nerf did it. |
