D6 Space is basically what 3E Star Wars would've looked like if WEG had been able to hang onto the license, so it could go either way. However, unless Loc Taal decides to create a separate category for the D6 System, it's probably better to just put the subject you want to discuss in the appropriate section here. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. You can do that, or you could visit this forum:

I'll warn you though, it's kind of a ghost town. _________________ __________________________________

Some of us haunt it regularly though, even when we don't have anything to post _________________ "A special effect without a story is a pretty boring thing"- George Lucas |

Thank you, i try to keep how many boards i am active on to a min or i get confused. ... was looking at trying to make a magic system with a magic attribute as i attempt to configure the D6 system to the Dresden story as I personally dislike the fudge system. |

There is actually a D6 Magic pdf that's available as a free download. As near as I can tell, it's designed to fit into the Metaphysical stat, so it can be adapted to the Space, Fantasy or Adventure setting with relative ease. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Fair enough. I haven't played it, but I have downloaded it for reference purposes. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

I've got my own magic system that's a work in progress. If you PM me your e-mail address, then I can send it to you.
Also, Grimace (who hasn't been around for a good while) sells a pretty decent magic system for the SUPER low price of $5 on RPG now. It's a good way to get a robust document for a low price and help out a fellow gamer. _________________ __________________________________
