Notes:
--Information for this vehicle list as armament the Dusat aft-firing EMP emitter. I am unsure what it does or why it is included. Research does not show an example of its use. I have decided that this must be something that Kanan Jarrus or Sabine Wren added to the stock version. I am open to suggestions on this.

I would figure that, although this is not the fastest speeder bike out there, an EMP gun would be used to disable pursuit. An EMP pulse, in practically all instances I've ever seen, fries circuitry way more than an ion pulse; ion weapons are designed to either stop a pursuer long enough to escape, or to disable equipment long enough to make a capture. Either way, it's meant as a non-lethal measure. An EMP would fry circuits so badly that they would have to be replaced, rather than simply coming back online.
If that sounds right to you, then you might consider changing the EMP emitter to an ion weapon; I'd think an EMP pulse would be less of a directional attack than an area attack, and you run the risk of causing havoc and collateral damage on which you were NOT counting...just my opinion though. |
