To be honest, since the only known quantity here to measure size is the cockpit, I don't think this is a transport. It has a small hull and massive engines (and since we can't see the underside, there may be two more underneath), plus there should be something on the port side (the one opposite the cockpit, which we can't see) to make the hull more symmetrical with regard to engine thrust being centered on the ship's X-axis.

Just to be different, here is my version.

Craft: Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1900
Type: Patrol Bomber
Scale: Starfighter
Length: 20 meters
Skill: Space Transports: YT-1900
Crew: 2 (can coordinate) & 1 gunner
Crew Skill: Varies
Passengers: None
Cargo Capacity: 5 metric tons
Consumables: 2 months
Hyperdrive Multiplier: x1
Hyperdrive Backup: x10
Nav Computer: Yes
Maneuverability: 2D
Space: 10
Atmosphere: 415; 1,200 kph
Hull: 4D
Shields: 2D
Sensors:
Passive 35/1D
Scan 60/2D
Search 100/3D
Focus 3/4D
Weapons:
1 Dual Laser Cannon
Fire Arc: Rear
Crew: 1
Skill: Starship Gunnery
Fire Control: 3D
Space Range: 1-3/12/25
Atmosphere Range: 100m-300m/1.2km/2.5km
Damage: 5D
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers
Fire Arc: Front
Crew: 1 (pilot or copilot)
Skill: Starship Gunnery
Fire Control: 3D
Space Range: 1/3/7
Atmosphere Range: 50m-100m/300m/700m
Damage: 9D
Ammo: 36 (single magazine feeds both launchers)
Capsule:
The YT-1900 is a dedicated patrol vessel built using standardized CEC components. With powerful engines, this diminutive ship can outrun all but the fastest starfighters, and has the firepower to engage small capital ships. On patrol mission, the ship combines its high speed with a powerful sensor suite to make fast and thorough sweeps through its assigned area. Its only defensive weapon is an aft-mounted dual laser cannon which is used to discourage pursuing starfighters. The main hull has living accomodations for the ship's three-man crew and little else. Dual proton torpedo launchers and an advanced sensor pod are mounted on the port side, opposite the cockpit.

What if it is a tug or orbital tender intended for use in the Corellian orbital shipyards?

Craft: Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1900
Type: Shipyard Tender
Scale: Starfighter
Length: 20 meters
Skill: Space Transports: YT-1900
Crew: 2 (can coordinate) & 1 'gunner' (tractor beam operator / maghook launcher)
Crew Skill: Varies
Passengers: None
Cargo Capacity: 5 metric tons
Consumables: 1 month
Hyperdrive Multiplier: No
Hyperdrive Backup: No
Nav Computer: No
Maneuverability: 2D
Space: 5*
Atmosphere: 205 kmh
Hull: 4D
Shields: 2D
Sensors:
Passive 35/1D
Scan 60/2D
Search 100/3D
Focus 3/4D
Weapons:

1 Tractor beam
Fire Arc: turret (ventral)
Crew: 1
Skill: Starship Gunnery
Fire Control: 2D
Space Range: 1-3
Atmosphere Range: 100m-300m
Damage: None**

1 Maghook launcher
Fire Arc: rear
Crew: 1
Skill: Starship Gunnery
Fire Control: 2D
Space Range: 1
Atmosphere Range: 100m
Damage: None***

Capsule:
The YT-1900 is a dedicated tugboat and orbital shipyard tender built using standardized CEC components. With powerful engines, this diminutive ship can effectively move even the largest objects in orbit, and can effectively act as a tug for anything the dedicated maghook launcher's maghook can magnetically lock on to.

* Though the ship has but 5 in Space rating, it has extremely powerful engines for its size
** The tractor beam allows moving objects of a rating up to 10 Metric Tons
*** The maghook allows the tug to change an object's Space rating by 1 (for a maximum of 5, minimum of 0) if the object masses less than 5 000 Metric Tons. Several tugs can act in concert to move larger objects than 5 kMT.

That's a good one, too. I would suggest making the tractor / towing capacity be based on hull dice rather than simple weight.

Being that I am putting together a yt-series handbook and I wanted to nail this down and since I like both suggestions, what I am going to do is use them as varients of this model...both work equally well and I really cant decide between the two.

Good idea. I've toyed a bit with it, and I think +1 Capital scale is reasonable (so that 3 of them can tow 1D of capital ship, and then just let scaling dice do the rest).

Or just make it 7D Starfighter scale (which is 1D Capital)
