I haven't seen them all, but if I had to pick three...
Broken Allegiance - from the opening battle to the happy couple ending, it's easy to forgive some of the bad acting and fight choreography.
Duality - The first fan film, besides Hardware Wars, I ever saw. The fight choreography is good, though not as great as Art of the Saber (which was also great!).
The Han Solo Adventures - I swear, I really thought that was Harrison Ford. This would have been a great series.

TheForce.Net was my go-to for quite awhile until the content slowed and I got impatient. I'm still waiting for chapter 3 of I.M.P.S. The Relentless.
Other fan films that deserve honorable mention:
Ryan vs. Dorkman 2 - while not as Star Wars-y as other fan films, the fight choreography is as fantastic, and the humor deliciously evil.
Grayson - not Star Wars, but one of the best superhero fan films/trailers I've seen.

I agree with Aegis, we need a Fan Films Sourcebook. There are some great starships, equipment, locations, and characters to mine. Plus, the plots of many of them could make some excellent adventures. _________________ Currently playing D&D 5E and painting an unholy amount of miniatures. |
