So, for the first time ever one of my players wants to buy a droid, but the model he's looking at doesnt have the skills he wants.
He and I both looked for a rule set way to upgrade a droid with new programming, but I can't really recall one. There's gotta be a rule for this, right? |

Cyndabar's droids book is what you are wanting to get ahold of.
Pages 20-25 is what you need/ _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

But still well worth the cost on eBay if you are playing a droid character. I got mine for about $10 at the time, and thought I was getting a great deal. Granted, most of this book is a codex of droids that you'll never use. But the first part of the book makes it worth the investment. _________________ __________________________________

Just looked on Ebay and there are 3, but they are all $20 or higher, +between $4 and $8 for shipping. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I've been looking at other online dealers to see if I can link him up with a cheaper copy. Thus far without success. _________________ __________________________________

I will update what our group has from an old internet doc once I scan and turn it into a PDF so all can read it and use it. All credit should go to the author of that said doc even if the author might have changed his handle since then. |

I've downloaded it, but haven't had a chance to look at it in detail. A lot going on at the moment... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation.
