At first I thought the official stats were out there. I did some checking and of course they are not. I did some research and this ship along with a buncha other ones were first given d20 stats in Star Wars Gamer No. 2. Not sure if the additional information in the article or what appears on wookieepedia would be helpful.
There's a fan-based conversion on d6holoron, these are the same stats as appears in, Starships Stats Revised & Expanded. Otherwise it looks good.
Since this was originally a survey vessel I would bump the passengers down from 12 to 2 and no more than 4. Remember this is a very small ship.
Crew: 1, 1 co-pilot/gunner (can coordinate)
Passengers: 2 (hot bunking)
This is a very small ship and 80 tons seems excessive. After doing some some research and looking at resources I think I agree with the space suggested in i]Starships Stats Revised & Expanded[/i].
Cargo: 25 tons
Downgrade the Shields? Its a sturdy with a Hull 4D but an older design.
Shields: 1D
Add a single auto blaster.
Auto Blaster
Fire Arc: Front
Skill: Starship Gunnery
Fire Control: 1D
Space Range: 1-8/25/40
Atmosphere Range: 100-800/2.5/4 km
Damage: 3D _________________ Don Diestler

i pretty much based on the FFG stats... which say 12 passenger, double light laser cannon aslo seems in ffg the encumberance seems a 1.5 to 1.65 ratio to the wotc/weg stats in tonnage for silouette 4 ships, since this this is a 120 encomberance ship, that be where i get the 80 tons ratio. note not all survey vessels have small passenger commplements or holds, some do, even many, not all, at any event i went with the ffe stats as close as i could. its listed with strong shelds...... i'll make the point though that older does not mean more weealky constructed (though it often does mean bulkier in build) i've seen 64 impalas take wrecks with minimal damages modern cars counld not take without being totaled..... note also the falcon is similar sized... ymmv. cheshire likely has the ffg book so can confirm. _________________ The Empire: We'z Ownz ALL yer'z Star Destoyerz!!! |

Let me just be clear, certainly not trying to change your mind. You asked for suggestions I am only giving them =)
I understand your going for straight stat conversion. I was doing that as well as taking into consideration stuff that they may not have or use in one system but do in the other. As well as those items effects on the game. Meaning are they pertinent.
Then I took a look at the picture for reference. To help give me scale and see if there was something about the physical picture that was obvious but not included or represented by the stats.
The cockpit is very small. Exceptionally small. Looks to me be starfighter in layout and scale with a pilot seat to the front and maybe one or two stations possible behind him. It would appear to the rear of the cockpit area there is either steps or a ladder going down to the ship hold and turret with the living quarters, refresher unit and galley towards front, under the cockpit area. Behind the turret I am guessing those tubes are two escape pods. Then there is the long tube running towards the engines I will assume is engine access, etc.
At least that is my take from the picture. _________________ Don Diestler

Tis, ok just explaining my logic. Me i in figurred it was a good sized cockpit, like some other ships, Note its near over half a deca meter over 20 meters thats close to 77.5 feet for us SAE inclined, its bomber sized in real life.... now its certainly wider then any real life bomber so can likely lug around at least 80 metric tons. Note the are smaller old republic shuttles that carry similar in weight/mass and passengers. Note, i see the main reson its bigger then them is the range extended so far for its mission. Note the the falcon's cockpits could seat four.. and look simimar in size capacity to me, despite the blister style. But yes if anybody else wants to take a stab or alter stats as i presented they are free too..... i'm just providing a veiw of what i use in my games ... all good. 8) _________________ The Empire: We'z Ownz ALL yer'z Star Destoyerz!!! |

Looking at the FFG stats, this looks super good. The only thing I was curious about was how good the sensors were. But then taking another look at the capsule, it seems like it is just about right. _________________ __________________________________
