Capsule: Sirra IV
is a gas giant in a system surrounded by a very dense and hard to navigate asteroid belt. One of nearly fifty moons it is the largest. With a type I atmosphere, light gravity and a sweltering 135 or more at the equator, most species stick to the southern continent and its majestic purple, green and yellow frond forests. The planet is a surprisingly covered by large oceans, a rarity for terrestrial moons. The moon is also unique in that it is corporately owned, but no one seems to know by which company and for what purpose, though stated on paperwork as ued for natural resources. Verification of natural resource exports cannot be confirmed. With a small official population of sixty this is indeed an oddity.

Star Name: Sirra Neveau
- Rock Planet (2 moons)
- Sirra (46 small moons, 2 large moons, 1 terrestrial moon)
- Rock Planet
- Asteroid Belt
- Ice Planet

Nice

I might not know allot about ships etc, but planets etc inherently interest me!

With the heat and super ocean, look for big storms etc weather wise. However, looking at your map, I'd expect to see weather like our southern hemisphere - big storms and rough seas, but fewer hurricanes than you'd expect. There will still be hurricanes but they will be smaller and less frequent than those that hit us in the northern hemisphere ...

Animals and such ... I don't see a lim fac so ... whatever you want to throw at Harris' team (well not Harris now, but you get the meaning)

The answer is going to be strange: yes but no.

Harris will fight as long as he can, but he is in a big river swimming up stream .... Considering how long he was getting rads how many wild dice came up with a 1, & how many issues there were with the bacta tank, he is doing better than you'd think ... but he isn't in any shape to lead the party like he did ...

You'll just have to read the next few weeks' adventure write-ups Wink

But back to SWR's planet ... What fauna would be on it ???

Well I had mentioned giant frond forests of I think, purple, yellow and some other color. I am thinking a tropic like atmosphere, but with unique foliage. Instead of rainforests and trees, giant fronds and such.

I like unique flora on planets. They give a good character.

There is one planet in my campaign which is basically an over-sized tide pool. There are coral forests with giant anemones. The air is always humid and salty. There are also man-eating clams....

I once snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef and swam right next to clams that were a good 6-7' tall, and looked big enough for one to swim inside. Man-eating clams is a scay thought, especially if you gave them teeth! Shocked

Give them teeth like the crab catcher seal! Granted, it's only for catching krill, but they'd look so scary:

You know, when I hear “Frond forests” I picture either snails/slugs, bugs, or dinosaurs … All of which, in a SW setting could be interesting.

You know, of the things I did in the military, the 3 things that scared me the most (outside of someone actually shooting at me) was fast-roping, clearing a room or house, and a close 3rd was doing night scout swims! … nothing worse than being in the water in the dark and having something big bump you … my stomach still twists at the memories …

Now put clams (or anything for that matter) with those teeth and there is more to fear in the water than big tiger or bull sharks!
