Has ANYONE has designed Tales of the Jedi Ships (Not KOTOR the older era)? Can you share your work if you have?

Forgive my ignorance, but weren't Tales of the Jedi ships in the Tales of the Jedi Sourcebook?

What specifically were you looking for?

There was a TINY example selection in there, was wondering if folks made any new designs for the era of their own.

I modified the XC-01 Star Saber, which appears to be from the exact time you're speaking of.

Step 1. Find a SW ship that does the same job with WEG or converted to WEG stats.

Step 2. Reduce the speed and weapon ranges, give it a second shield strength up to its original for the less advanced ToJ particle shields.

Step 3. Change the name

Because, why make Star Wars more complicated than it has to be?

Now that this has been brought up, I found myself flipping back through my TOTJ Sourcebook.

I might have missed it, but there's a ship I'm curious about. It's on this cover here:

In the upper left, with the six round blue engines. Can anyone more familiar with Tales identify that ship...?

Interesting.

Are you sure? Forgive my inquisitiveness, but they don't appear to be the same shape.

There's a good model of the Delaya here:
http://artships.com/1997/master.html

When you compare it to the ship on the cover, it appears it's missing that rearward strut, and only has two engines, from what I can see.

I've been over most of the TOTJ ships - I wonder if it was made up for the cover? That would be interesting. I read Tales years ago, and that ship always stuck in my mind.

Oh my god - it's the Nebulon Ranger. I can't believe I didn't see it before.

Here's a good shot of just the artwork:

And here's a shot of the Ranger (sometimes depicted with 3 or 6 engines, confusingly:

I totally misread it. I thought it was a gigantic ship flying down, towards the tower. Instead, it's a SMALL ship, flying AWAY.

Mystery solved!

I feel dumb.
