It's been a long time since I've used mIRC. I think registering chatrooms is dependent on the server/network (e.g. Dalnet, if that's still around) you are on. You might want to see if there is a website for your server/network and see if they have any help there.
Or maybe somebody else can be of more help to you. _________________ "WHERE ARE THE CHEETOS?"

Esjs is right; registration, at least of the permanent variety, does depend on the server. Most, if not all servers, however, allow you to spontaneously create any room you wish, provided that it is unused. You simply join it as if it were already established. I hope this was helpful. |

Whenever you log on to an IRC server, there is usually a big block of text that scrolls up the screen. In that text is usually the commands needed to ask for help from nickserv or chanserv. Also, there are numerous IRC forums across the net dedicated to assisting with IRC related questions. Most commands involving anything for nicknames or channels are usually /msg Nickserv or /msg chanserv or /nickserv or /chanserv. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

caps may affect some commands on some servers, as many nickserv and chanserv commands have flags (i.e. /msg nickserv ident -I) and with flags, an m is different from an M. Also, passwords are usually caps sensitive. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |
