Silly rabbit. It's not "there have only been two." The proper quote is "There can be only one!" |
Wrong genre. "Always two there are: master and apprentice." _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

I was actually thinking that too. Seems a good way to designate as any. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

That rank is never earned by posting, but only conferred by the admin. |
So, apart from Fallon's bribery suggestion, how does that happen. Do we have any Jedi Masters? |
The rank of Jedi Master is not only conferred only by Admin (meaning Taal Loc or Scrawprin), it's also only given to those who have been elevated to the post of either Admin or an overall Moderator; it's not given to mods who are only given such power in order to run their own games. |

So, seeing as how Loc Taal recently made several forum members to moderator status, do they get promoted? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. I might be mistaken on the Moderator status being an impetus for receiving Jedi Master rank; it's been a long time since I saw the conversation happen here, and I'm too busy playing catch-up right now to look for it. Might just be for those who are elevated to Admin status. |

I'm pretty confident that it's just Admin. Even moderators have the usual rank based on post number.
jmanski, Whill, Vanir, vong, and I are all mods and don't have special rankings. Think of us as just plain cloths police, but instead of pepper spray, we carry silly string. _________________ __________________________________

Hi. Old player here, looking into his favorite game. I bought the game in the late 80s and GM'd the sucker for nearly 15 years.
Just found this site recently. Looking to relive some old memories. |

Hmm in that case, login to your Google+ account and do a community search for "Star Wars D6". _________________ Don Diestler

That's really interesting. The ULR for me was

Similar, but not the same. I wonder why. _________________ __________________________________
