Never been in a game where the first roll was NOT immediately after activating the power. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Take a mortally wounded character, they have # of rounds < a 2D roll to live right? Example character has been mortally wounded for three rounds 2D roll is a six, character is still alive right? I don't have a rule book in front of me so correct me if I'm wrong. I have always thought (personally, not RAW) that a mortally wounded character's condition could not improve to incapacitated for the first 12 hours. That would be far outside the # of rounds < a 2D roll. I would think a successful first aid or medical roll would stabilize the character and keep them alive ie. stop rolling the 2D of death. 12 hours later, another first aid, medical, Accelerated Healing, or a natural healing roll would then allow the condition to improve. If roll fails, start rolling the 2D of death again, but instead of rounds, use minutes, or maybe even hours, until successful roll can be made. _________________ "EXECUTE ORDER 67. The rule is roll 2D at the end of every round. If the roll is less than the number of rounds the character dies. This continues until character is "stabilized" requiring a Moderate first aid roll. _________________ Don Diestler

Maybe by merely activating this power, it 'stablizes' them so they Don't need that 2d roll, until and unless they fail the activation roll and/or worsen their condition by rolling real bad on the natural healing roll. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
