For adhesive strength I origional wrote 1D per 4 cm squared. After reading all these great post has got me thinking, how about area covered...
4x4 cm - 1D
8x8 cm - 2D
16x16 cm - 3D
32x32 cm - 4D
64 x 64 cm - 5D
128 x128 cm - 6D
256x256 cm - 7D
512x512 cm - 8D
1024x1024 cm - 9D
2048 x2048 cm - 10D
At 10D that's an area of 400 square meters that bigger than football field. Go HAWKS.

How much is in a roll you ask? 50 meters, will cover two square meters. 25 pieces 4 cm wide and one meter long will cover 1 square meter giving it an adhesive strength of 5D+ 2. A 50 meter roll can make two of these . ( if my math, and weak understanding of the metric.system is correct).

Now for strength per layer of 1D. If you have five layers that would give you a strength of 5D against breaking all the layers at one. Cutting through all five layers would be far easier since you are not rolling against the strength of all the layers. Strength verses blade +1 per layer. At five layers that is only 1D+2.

I'll take 10 rolls. I'm going to use it to gift wrap bounties.

By time they figure out how many dice of strength they need to break through to escape I'll already have them delivered to the nearest ISB office.
Very Happy
