				| Don't forget that duct tape is like the Force.
It has a Light side, and a Dark side. And it binds the Galaxy together!

				| Also true of Gorilla tape, though the light and dark sides are oddly reversed... | DougRed4 wrote: | | Don't forget that duct tape is like the Force.

Wampa adhesive stripping sounds like some sort of holo from the sordid side of the holnet.

You need to cap the adhesive strength somehow or rebels will be using to tape doors shut, that would require thermal detonators to blast through the tape.

				| Are you suggesting that it couldn't secure a blast door. The limitation is on the amount it would take to do it. Not to mention the time it would take to apply properly. But you're right the uber plays will try to abuse this, I know I have had players try. | |

				| I also remember seeing an episode of Mythbusters that interlaced the pages of two phone books that took two WWII tanks to pull apart, with no adhesive substance. It is amazing what friction can do. | |

And so it's time to do an Earth-based approximation test. After the local WalMart closes, how much duct tape will it take to completely seal the entrances?

Legal disclaimer: No really, I can't recommend that you do that.

My worry is someone will try to to put it 10 layers thick down the seam where two doors meet

				| Why not use the combined actions chart? D6 is logarithmic in scale. 4D is about 8x 1D, not 4x, so you could seal a door against thermal detonators, but it would take a literal metric ton of tape. | Centinull wrote: | | | griff wrote: | | Are you suggesting that it couldn't secure a blast door.
