Starwars.com has begun posting a blog of literature that was cut from the Essential Guide to Warfare.

It has been reviewed for canon and continuity, so that's cool.

The first post has some really interesting things in it and has some great plot hooks.

Those are awesome! I love the material released for the new Essential series.

Endnotes from Daniel Wallace also has a treasure trove of story points that you can easily mine for game ideas.

I enjoy the information for background and understanding the setting, especially why hyperspace lanes exist.

Yeah I like that too. I'm thinking that when my players are heroic in capability and after the Emperor falls, I'll have them stumble upon this datatape.

I must be missing something because I can't find Part 1 on the starwars.com news site.
I can find parts 3, 5, 6, 8, and 10-12, but the other blogs appear to be missing?

I hate that so many posts to starwars.com (like the OP) just go to their generic front page, so you can't find what you're after without significant digging.
