DK Press has made available a free, high-res pdf version of their Tatooine map, as part of the launch of the new "Kenobi" book which comes out tomorrow. Here's a link to the free map:

What an awesome map!

Very interesting. Veeeery interesting.

Though I've not heard of the novel. Other than "Ben Kenobi" can you elaborate on what it's about?

I'm not generally a fan of much of the EU, but this book actually sounds pretty interesting. It focuses on Kenobi's activities right after Ep. III (actually, at least the first part fills in a little bit of the last part of Ep. III, with Ben bringing Luke to the Lars homestead). It's supposedly written in kind of a "western" style. Here's some more info, if you're interested:

The quality and detail are really impressive - and it is basically THE definitive Tatooine map out there. Very nice of DK Press to make that available free to everyone.

Yes, that's a very nicely done map. Thanks for sharing it!

Nice map, but I think the scale should be larger. At the given scale, this map shows an area about what, 1/4 the size of the state of Colorado? Seems like it should cover more of the planet.

I also wondered about the scale, Gullwind, but maybe it makes sense that only a small portion of the planet is colonized. It's also kind of nice in that it leaves so much open space free to the imagination, or to customized story lines - there be dragons out there! (Krayt ones, that is - no matter what they actually sound like).

Any Rebel Force Radio listeners out there who caught the last comment?
