Chapter 2: Kashyyyk

[Frandal]

The wookie seems a little bit dissapointed.

"None that I've heard of " for a moment he was to add some title but now he is clearly not sure how to adress Vin.

"Any help you could lend will be appreciated though" he adds.

With the previous organization of Vin's improvised team and the help of the officers the crowd at the turbolift seems to be under control and almost cleared the level.

Behind them the rioters are started to be under control by the security forces and only at the other side of the level, perhaps reaching other levels of the tree city, sounds of battle still rages on as the Sith Lord makes his way out.

Some officers that are near them start to look to the big wookie brothers and his human companion suspiciously. It will be just a matter of time that some of them are recognized by them.

"We could go with you Sir" Rouurarca says to Vin " And help to capture that Sith again."

[Jedi Skyler]

Vin looks hesitantly in the direction of the Sith Lord's swath of destruction. "You are welcome to come with me; but have you ever encountered a Sith Lord? Do you think one would be so easily overcome by a couple bowcasters? There is a reason he's in there, still fighting everyone who comes up against him."

Sighing heavily, he says, "We may as well at least survey the situation; let's go do a little recon."

With that, he starts heading in the direction of the Sith Lord, uncertain of how he's going to manage this; he hopes this Sith is not one he's ever encountered before; otherwise, things could turn very, VERY badly for Vin.

[Frandal]

As soon as they have left the police officers vicinity, and while still heading for the section of the level where the fight still rages on the blac fured wookie says to Vin.

"We don't have to actually go there and help, don't we?"

[Jedi Skyler]

Vin looks back at the Wookiee. "Unless you wanna get caught by the cops again doing other than what we said we were gonna do, yeah." He takes a deep breath. "We can at least do a little recon, maybe stay out of the way and just see what's going on in there. Then we slip away, and it's all good."

[Frandal]

You approach with caution to the zone where the fight is most intense and, even at that distance, you can see that the cops are trying to surround the Sith Lord at what it seems a safe distance.

Still the Sith continues to destroy everything that it's close to him. Even at that distance Vin could feel his anger, his rage. He could feel it calling him, waken his own rage. Getting closer could be very dangerous for him.

Near the Sith, there are several rioters and wookies fighting each other without quarrell. It seems that they are already affected by the Sith's rage.

No need to say that the few non-wookies rioters are taking the worst part of that fight.

[Jedi Skyler]

"We'd probably best go; that Sith's rage is infecting everyone around him."

With that Vin leads the way, moving away from the battle zone.

[Frandal]

The two wookies exchange a look between them, and follow Vin in silence, at least until they left the chaotic level and start to mendle aroun the city.

"Do you have a destination in mind?" ask the grey one "Because I don't think that it will have much time until they notice that their "help" has gone missing..."

[Jedi Skyler]

"Yes. I'm heading toward my ship. If the police has any issues with my heading that way, I'll simply tell them I'm going for backup."

[Frandal]

"A ship?" the two wookies exchange a signigicant glance. "Do you have a ship? That's interesnting. And do you plan leaving the planet soon?"

[Jedi Skyler]

"I am one of several on a ship, yes," he replies, immediately on guard for an attempt by the wookiees to hijack the ship. "Our schedule is not set in duracrete yet. Why do you ask?"

[Frandal]

"Well, we could use a ride out the planet. Things are getting really stressing lately here. And perhaps your crew could use the extra muscle and my brother here" the black furred one hits the grey one on the shoulder "he's a capable mechanic. We could discuse our pay once we are out in the space. What do you say? "

[Jedi Skyler]

Vin looks at them with a raised eyebrow. "Pay? I didn't say anything about taking on any crew."

He shrugs and starts making his way toward the ship. "Besides, the answer isn't just mine to make. You can tag along for now, but if the group says no, then perhaps we can discuss the rate for passage offworld."

[Frandal]

"Yeah sure!" says the wookie and follows Vin towards the ship.

Sovain, who both the wookies and the Jedi seems to had forgotten, just follow them.

Soon enough and with some police speeders still heading the way they were leaving behind, the group reaches the platform where the ship is. The rest of the team are already together in front of the lowered ramp. It seems that they were waiting for Vin to return so Caster could debrief them with the details of his negotiations.

[Frandal]

Caster seems to be happy and he is followed by an armored human.

After the introductions Casters says

"Well pals I have some good news and some bad news. I've managed to find ourselves a job. We have to transport some cargo. Bad news is that the guy who hired us has more attitude problems than dental higienic ones. And that's a long shot believe me. "

[Jedi Skyler]

Vin approaches with the Wookiees in tow. He listens to Caster's description of their 'benefactor,' and then gestures to the Wookiees. "I was only successful in getting my implant deactivated; it won't give me any troubles, but neither will it give me any benefits. We'll need to find a cyber-specialist to reactivate it properly. On my way back here, I met these two. They're wondering about becoming part of the crew."
