You mean that the bow is not usable at all without use of Force? I'm not sure about that, lightsabers (most of them) are usable without knowing the Force (although they are far more effective in hands of Jedi).
Without spell/force use bow is like blaster carbine, only more cumbersome and with few hundred shots.
I'm still open to arguments, because I'm not sure. |

That's what i was saying. Check out Crystal star. The main baddie has as part of his 'testing for jedi hood' in his dark jedi order, having his padawan wanna be's turning on a lightsaber, using just the force. If they have force powers, it activates. If not, it does not turn on.
So someone would need say 2d in one force power (i'm leaning to alter) to even activate the bow. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Similar to an internal switch that they'd have to use TK to turn on? _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

Not sure if it was an internal switch needing TK or not, but i do remember non force users could do nothing with it.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I'm pretty sure the internal switch thing (which one uses the Force to turn on) is detailed in the lightsaber rules (probably in Tales of the Jedi). _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |
