Not sure what category to file this under. Being about West End Games, I figure this is as close as any.

Today I was looking over stuff on RPG.net, and I stumbled across this interview with Bill Slavicsek about Star Wars d6, which he did about half a year ago.

It gives some great info about some of the "behind the scenes" about the game.

I now see there is a second interview with Greg Costikyan.

Both interviews provide interesting info about the early development of the game!

The D6 Magazine (which I continue to plug all over the place) also has a few interviews in it with D6 creators. There's also an interview with our very own Hisham, though not a WEG game designer, we've seen his art quite a few times in some RPGs.

I got say the D6 mags are well done and should be looked at. I am not yet fully familiar with all the the rules and changes between the D6 systems but I was impressed with the layout and how well written the mags seem to be.

Thanks post the links I have not read them yet but I fully intend to a behind the scene look at making an rpg would be very interesting.

Though I haven't read the D6 magazines, I've gotten the chance to run a game called Into the Shadows a few times. It's basically the d6 system, but set up for a modern horror/thriller genre. The work this guy did in making cars, guns, monsters, etc. is pretty amazing. It really showed me how the d6 system can do just about anything! Very Happy

Have any favorite articles or artwork? Not that any users here would have a vested interest in that.
