Garren mulls over the offer for a bit…
I’m not a greedy man; I understand that the Jedi aren’t exactly big business, but two hundred fifty a month?
“Make it two hundred fifty credits per week, along with the operating fund and the ship’s deed, and you have a deal, Master.” _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. "Three hundred a month," Master Aash says firmly. "You've learned to live a simpler life here at the Temple. If you are in need of more personal finances, you are welcome to take on cargo," His gaze seems to take on a hard edge, even though his voice dosnt change, "But the mission comes first. Any profit from a cargo run is yours, however, any losses are also your own."
He makes a broad sweeping gesture with one hand, at the end of the gesture, his hand is cupped in front of him, his eyes looking down into his empty palm, "Along your journey, it is likely that you will encounter some force related artifacts, or other items of significance that the Order would be interested in," He closes his hand, as if he is cradleing something precious, "You will receive a small percentage of that item's value." Letting his hand drop, Master Aash's gaze returns to Garren's, "However, those funds use will be limited to upgrades and repairs for your ship." |

“Now I know why there’s a saying in the galaxy about not getting into negotiations with a Jedi…”
Garren sighs and then holds out his hand.
“I suppose there’s not much footing for me to stand on here, you have a deal.”
After he shakes hands with Master Aash, he excuses himself and makes his way to his room, collecting his things, then making his way to the landing pad to see this ‘mostly new ship’ he’s to inherit at the end of his tour… _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic.
