I never new jedi were so popular. Perhaps thats why people play starwars. but anyways. I been on kinds of rpg sites that show pictures, and every one of them show to many jedi pictures. you could not get a good male or female charecter with out a light saber in his or her hand. and the ones that make thease pictures, its hard as hell to fine a good male charecter with a gun in his hand. i think they just like drawing the females with there skirts all the way up ,or a female with no clothing what so ever. Its redicules...

That's why god created Photoshop, so we could edit out those lightsabers and insert whatever weapon we wanted in the hands of our characters....

Head over to SWAG (starwars artist guild). It has lots of jedi pics, including ones of many different races.

Actually boomer. they used too. The people who set up and keep the site in pics are taking a break. No idea when they willl be back to it.

Well, on defense of the artists, it would be difficult to identify the subject to be from Star Wars (rather than some other Sci-Fi genre) without a unique and recognizable piece, and for Star Wars that is the lightsaber. So not finding a non-jedi SW pic has to do with both the jedi popularity and the need to be able to distinguish what the subject actually is.

Yes i do understand that... But i can not help it to see alot of SW players play jedis then they do play other classes like bounty hunter,Mercenary, etc...

Also, in all fairness, the artist is going to depict what the artist feels like depicting. It really has nothing to do with how many players play what template...or how popular other character templates may be. It's what the artist feels like doing. Most artists will draw a specific request in return for compensation. Some may draw a specific request for fun.
Compensation is always a gauranteed way to get an artist to depict your exact wishes.
