Howdy!
Can I get some of you D20 / D6 masters to convert this Jawa NPC from D20 to WEG D6?
His backstory is perfect for what I need in my RPG over the next several weeks. So please, pretty please, could some one convert him?

Somehow I missed this the first time around. I'm better at taking it from SAGA to D6. I've got quite a lot on my plate at the moment, and I've actually got one conversion ahead of this one. If I don't get to this in a week, please give it another bump. _________________ __________________________________

Thanks!
I feel terrible for mooching off of people, but all versions of D20 are greek to me. I wouldn't ask, except the character's write up is exactly what I need for an NPC in my game. _________________ - J.T. Swift

Someone actually made a javascript converter for the RCR. Honestly, I'd be relying on that a LOT in order to make any sort of conversion. Want me to see if I can dig it up for you? You'd probably get to it faster than I would. Now, it won't ever be a perfect conversion, but it'll get you a start for you to eyeball a few things. It's enough for you to say, "That just doesn't look right," and tone it up or down from there.
If it were a SAGA conversion, then yeah, I can feel those more since I play that system as well. But the RCR isn't exactly Greek... well... yeah, it kinda is like Greek for me. I studied enough to translate it with a few errors, and it takes me a while, but I can get it done. So, yeah, almost exactly like Greek (Koine, though, not modern or classical Greek). _________________ __________________________________

Sure, if there's some sort of converter that would be great.
I always feel like a heel asking people here to prep my games for me. [But I'm still enough of Lucas Film Ltd. snob that I don't want to just make something up from scratch]. _________________ - J.T. Swift

I'm pretty sure this is it:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/g0BF3VE8/charconverter13.html
It was made with an older version of Java and there are a couple of things you have to do in order for it to work. However, I'm pretty sure there's a readme.txt in there that should explain everything. Let me know if you have problems. _________________ __________________________________

That's my best guess- alter it as you see fit. Some skills don't exactly fit. I'm not sure how to treat piloting or repair- I'll let that one be for you to decide. _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

Tried it. Some skills seem to bug up the program, but it's a far cry from having to convert it by hand. Definitely a time saver! _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
I did look over the java program, and while I am going to try to learn it, this will save me lots of time.
The program looks easy enough, I just need to figure out which stats go where in it. Everything is abbreviated in the WOTC SW books. But I'm sure I can figure it out, now that I've got the program.
So thanks for that as well!

No problem, had to have something to do while the wife watched Dancing with the Stars. _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |
