Chapter 2: Kashyyyk

[Wisconsin Wookie]

Caster answers the smile with a quick grin of his own before hoisting his mug for another drink. Being in Republic space had him a bit on edge and he hoped whatever he was drinking might smooth that edge out a bit. As he sets the mug down he will take a quick glance over his right shoulder, making a quick check to see if anyone was approaching from behind or paying too much attention to he and Dar.

Alright plan is going perfectly Sovain thinks. "Alright, so what's part two? Or are you making this up as you go?" Sovain asks to Koshka, still holding the bowcaster at the guard

Vin sets in the waiting room for quite a while, watching scentients come and go. After more than an hour, a light brown furred, male wookiee steps into the waiting area with a small datapad in his hand, rumbling something, KG77 perks up, "Mr Darkmauler? Nurse Kchhhku says the doctor will see you now." The droid sounds absolutely perky as it hurries to lead the way.

Caster scans the room, he dosnt see anything at first. It isnt until he starts to turn his attention back to the surprisingly strong drink in front of him that he spots the wookiee deathstick dealer speaking with two other wookiees in a shadowed alcove. The deathstick dealer glances in the character's direction, breifly making eye contact before hurrying towards the back exit.

With complete chaos around them, Sovain finds himself and Koshka struggling through the drowd. The massive wookiee shoving most individuals out of the way and trampling the rest without any sign of effort. By the time they reach an infamiliar hallway, Sovain sees that the wookiee has managed to acquire his own bowcaster somewhere amongst the chaos, "Step two," Koshka rumbles as three guards round the corner a head of them, Koshka fires off a shot hitting the first guard full in the face, "We fight our way out!" The big wookiee sounds more than a little excited by the idea.

"Let's go," Vin says. He rises and follows the droid.

[Stararmor]

"Fight? You know I can't really use this thing at all?" Sovain looks at Koshka, "Well it is your plan, following your orders...as if you were the doctor in this case...."

Suddenly very uneasy, Caster will lean over to Dar and say, "I think we may have worn out our welcome." Caster will turn so that his right side is next to the bar and he will deftly unhook the strap over his right holster. He will glance quickly in the direction of the two other wookies, trying to gauge the distance between them and also looking for any objects he may be able to use, before turning back to the bar.

Following the droid, Vin soon finds himself in a small, nondescript examination room. The wookiee setting across from him rumbles something, a moment later, KG77 starts to translate, "Mr. Darkmauler, Nurse Kchhhku would like you to describe your implant's malfunction and when the problem began." With a datarecorder in hand, the wookiee nurse prepares to make notes.

Koshka barks out a deep laugh as he begins firing rapidly down the hallway towards the remaining two guards. As one of the guards works up some nerve, he fires a random shot towards Sovain and Koshka, the blaster bolt burning a small hole in the wall inches from Sovain's shoulder.

As Caster turns back towards the bar, he sees one of the two wookiees stand and head towards a dark alcove in the back of the cantina, meanwhile, the other wookiee makes no secret of the fact that he is watching the two characters as he leans back in his seat and takes a deep drink from the mug in his hand.

Vin describes in detail all the symptoms he's encountered, right down to the dizziness he's recently had, and tells the nurse about the blow to his head which caused it all. Although he gives the proper time that has elapsed since the incident, he attributes it to a major jolt that happened when the hyperdrive on their ship malfunctioned, causing the ship to lurch violently, resulting in his being tossed into a bulkhead.

Caster glances quickly at Dar to make sure he's paying attention before saying, "Watch my back, will ya?"

Without waiting for a reply, Caster will swivel on his stool and head to the end of the bar. With a confident grin, he will aproach the Twi'lek and say, "Hey, remember me?"

[Stararmor]

"Man, that was close. HEY, WATCH YOUR AIM!!! YOU MISSED YOUR HALF-BLINDED FURBALL!!" He starts shooting the Bowcaster at the guard who missed him while Sovain is running.

Listening to Vin describe his symptoms, the nurse takes notes the entire time. Once he is done, the nurse subjects him to a series of tests that defy any reasonable explanation. Nearly half an hour later, he finds himself setting on a cold examination table wearing little more than an open backed gown. As the wookiee nurse heads for the door, he growls something, KG77 cheerfully translates, "The doctor will be in to see you shortly!" As the door slides shut, Vin feels a cool draft on his back from the vent above his head.

Sovain fires several wild shots down the corridor before finally winging one of the guards. In the meantime, Koshka peppers the hallway with blasterfire. As the last guard drops, the massive wookiee begins barreling down the hallway. Not bothering to look back, Koshka barks, "Follow me!"

The Twi'lek eyes Caster up and down once, the amusement on her face is almost infectious, "Should I?" Biting her lower lip to suppress a smile, she reaches out to catch a bead of condensation from her glass on the tip of her finger. Raising her hand towards his face, she deftly places the bead of water on his lower lip, "But then, people do tend to remember me."

Vin takes deep breaths to calm himself, stretching out his senses and opening himself up to the Force.

((OOC: Concentration, then Sense. Just taking an overall note of what's going on around himself, in any way he can pick up said information.))

Dar keeps an eye around the room, keeping much of his attention on the wookie watching him. Most of the time, the one you know is watching isn't the dangerous one...he might just be a decoy. He actually gives a nod to the wookie before giving another scan around the bar, paying little attention to Caster's conversation.

Sovain starts following Koshka down the hallway, "Do I need to even say it? Following your orders here. But I STILL would like to get out of here ALIVE!!"

Caster smoothes the drop of moisture between his lips and then replies with a wide grin, "I can see why." With a quick up and down glance of his own, Caster continues, "There are plenty of reasons to remember you."

Caster steps in so he can lean on the bar and turn his attention back out toward the Twi-lek and the room behind her. Caster answers her question: "Actually, you don't have any reason to remember me...not yet anyway." As he finishes that last sentence, Caster takes a quick look back in the direction of the Wookies.
