Can a character "use" a DSP?
I've read some paragraphs that hint to the fact that this is possible, but I can't find any specific rules on this matter.
Can somebody point me in the right direction? |

Can't remember off the top of my head which book, someone will know, but you can. By calling upon the Dark Side you can spend a DSP like a Force Point, but you always get an extra DSP and you have to spend the "converted" FP the following round.
Remember that by RAW the more DSP a PC has the more often they lose control and the GM will NPC them at a critical moment as a villain within the party.
So using straight RAW with DSP like this is a two sided coin. A PC never really wants to have more than one if the Player likes controlling his own character's actions and decisions. In addition other PCs can never really trust someone with more than 1 DSP within the party, the GM can use them to penalise and mess them up at the worst times. |

Other than you spend the FP you get from calling on the dark side immediately. Not in the following round. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Gaming tip of the day: If a PC aquires DSP:s, dont roll to see wether he turns or not immediately. Let the game go on and later, at some critical time, for example when the character have to risk his life to save teammate or if a opportunity arises to betray the team for his own benefit, you roll to see wether he has (allready) turned or not.
This will keep the other players (and the DSP aquiree) on their toes, not knowing wether they can trust him or not. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |
