For me, I'm a list person. I'll start by making a list of all the "Chapters" I want in the project. Then I look at those chapters and breat those up into all the sections I want to represent. Then I will take those sections and start working on a to-do list for that section.

That's my approach to sourcebook writing as well. |

Unfortunately, I am chaos in typed form...I blame ADD and ADHD. I get ideas, I commit them to writing, I revisit expand, elaboprate, format, etc... but not always working on a single idea at one time. I know it's bad...but it's how my mind works. Sometimes it's a benefit as it lets me see connections and ways of doing things or linking things I might otherwise miss. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

Just downloaded it and am tinkering with the layout a bit. I'll post it to the group when I'm done. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

I've uploaded an alternate cover for the Medical Sourcebook to the group's Images section. Check it out and let me know if you think it will work. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Uploaded a cover for the Beverages Sourcebook to the group Photos. Again, let me know what you think. I used Guardian_A's title suggestion as well. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

LOL, I immagine that the title will be a lot more catchy once there is a name to insert instead of just (Insert name here)'s guide to Cantinas, Casinos, & Dives.
I do like the cover though. It captures the Mos Eisly cantina at a calm moment while still exuding that dark, dangerous feel, . . . |

Yeah, I left the "insert name" space there for if/when a name is chosen. It does look funny. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Insert Name Here - I like it. Are we going to throw Galaxy Guide # in front of that?
You guys have been busy...I feel like I have been unproductive. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

Busy? Yeah, we've been slowly gearing up towards starting work on a project or two. After a lot of discussion, and quite a bit of planning, we're finally starting to get things moving. It looks like our first project will be a Cantina guide. There are also a couple of people who have mentioned the possibility of helping compile my NPC collections into a single resource. I have to admit though, the Guide to the Force that we have been planning has me pretty excited. I'm really looking forward to getting to that one!
You're welcome to sign up on RancorPitBooks and get involved. A couple of us are gearing up to start working on a Cantina guide, we'd welcome anyone who is interested in contributing.
Galaxy Guide #? We have talked about doing additional Galaxy Guides. At some point, I'd like to work on Galaxy Guide 0: The Holiday Special. By making it "0", people can choose to pretend it dosnt exist if they want. |

Would you be mad if I told you I had already done this? At least as far as you've done them. I just have a few pages to go on the Civilian book. |

Let me finish it up. Shouldn't take too long.
I did change the format slightly, moving the PER/STR/TEC up alongside the DEX/KNO/MEC column. That makes it fit into fewer pages. Its just shy of 200 pages right now. |
