Just trying to see if anyone is from Arkansas. I am looking into joining WEG's demo team, but there is a severe lack of gaming stores from what I've seen. So to do so I would have to find out if there even seems to be anyone in the state interested in playing the new WEG d6 stuff. So, if so; either reply of PM me. Thanks. _________________ Luke, I am your father.
That's impossible!
And Leia is your sister!
That's improbable?
And the Empire will be destroyed by..EWOKS!
That's...highly unlikely.
The Force? Bacteria called midichlorians.
If you don’t take this seriously I'm out. |

D6 SW game group right here in Maumelle (about 10 minutes from Little Rock).
There are five of us, and we may be interested in another D6 type game as well.
And if you are in Arkansas, are you looking for a SW game as well? _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

Possibly both. My first priority is to get an idea of if there's enough interest to do demo teaming for WEG. Basiclly you would go to gaming shops, conventions, ect and demo the new D6 stuff to players to promote interest in their new stuff. I would be up for some Star Wars too, I just was hoping for too much.
Out of curiosity what places to you get your gaming books from? (Actual locations, I know where Maumelle is - I live close to L.R. too.) _________________ Luke, I am your father.

eBay and, well, honestly, http://www.rancorpit.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=527
But I do shop at that Gaming Store on Rodney Parham in Little Rock, but that store is sorely limited in stock. I know of no other place in Arkansas actually, but some stores like Hastings (I think they are still around in some smaller towns...not sure though) used to carry rpg books, and of course some bookstores at the mall as well. But as for gaming stores, I know of only that one.
As for going to conventions...I dunno. It all depends. It is hard enough to play SW every Monday night as it is (and I am sure that night will change to Tues. once football season comes up in the next month or two). _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

I was kinda afraid you would say the Rodney Parham store. There stock IS noting but D20 stuff. I once asked about WEG stuff and well, it didn't go well. The other problem is from what I've seen the store is small, unless there is more store space somewhere else, like upstairs. And you need a little space to run the demo.
If you're offering I'd be interested in meeting with the group for Star Wars. _________________ Luke, I am your father.

Yeah, the store is garbage. But I had to buy the wild die somewhere.
Well, the thing is that the players are fairly adament about bieng there every week, and letting everyone in advance know whether or not you can make it before Monday night. Most of us are in our mid to late 20's...married with kids, so our "guys-night-out" is roleplaying and we take it well...as serious as you can take roleplaying. But we have an on-going campaign, in an infinities setting, and we use the same characters week to week.
If you can tolerate all that and our plethora of house rules, you are more than welcome. But you'll have to stop buy and make your character (if you don't already have one raring to go) before game night as they will not want to wait for you to finish making your character before we play. Our characters are in the 4-6D range with one character having 7-8D range in Melee and one or two other combat skills.
Either way, we start in twenty minutes. _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

Nevermind. I live in Arkansas, and would travel from there towards Branson to visit a friend. _________________ Luke, I am your father.
