Yeah, well, still can't get a D6 game going anywhere, so don't expect much out of me.
I don't even have books near me. |

Hi there. I'm Andrew Gilbertson- new to the forums, but joining up at one of my former player's suggestion. I've been doing the RPG since '98; I've played through three 'sets' of RPG (each kicking off with the Introductory Adventure Set)- one shortly after aquiring the game that was a very sloppy, largely rule-less, fairly absurdist trial run, a second long-running campaign that carried all the way up through ROTJ and 3-4 years of real life play with probably half or more of the published WEG campaigns covered and a large dose of Unknown Regions-based original campaigns afterwards for good measure, and a third, recently-started group of family and friends that's run through about 6 or 7 adventures so far, retracing old ground for me, but introducing a whole new 'generation' to the WEG RPG. Currently, I've got my wife (a Shistavanen male), my Brother-in-law (a human female), my friend and co-worker (a Duros male), and a former-imperial-junior-officer NPC... plus, as of yesterday, a just departed Brother-in-law (a Talz male now leaving to aid in 'the liberation of Alzoc III' as the player moves to Alabama) and the first brother-in-law's wife... a just-deceased Balosar female, who will presumably be returning soon with a new character.
So far, these forums seem fantastic- it is so nice to finally find other people conversant in the SW WEG RPGs- and I look forward to reminiscing on favorite adventures, positing ideas for new campaigns, and debating new rules and rule amendments! _________________ Star Wars: Marvels, the audio drama: www.nolinecinemas.com

We've even got a few netbooks floating around here. We've always got someone working on at least one. Occasionally one of them gets completed too. _________________ __________________________________

Awwww, you're making me blush... Thanks so much for the warm welcome, all- after a day's looking around, I have to say this looks like the coolest forum I've ever been on! _________________ Star Wars: Marvels, the audio drama: www.nolinecinemas.com

Hi, all. I've been a Star Wars fan for a long time now, but only become a table RPG player a few years ago. Since then, I've tried several different systems, but I think the WEG D6 is probably my favorite. In addition to the house group I've been playing with, I recently started doing play-by-post games, and that's been pretty fun so far. I'm hoping to start GMing soon, so that should be fun. _________________ Oink! |

Was an old member - just dropping back in. Been away a long time. In my absence the D6 books I was working on were abandoned so I have all these great rules and source material I created for nothing.
Also in my absence I have gotten back into 3d Art, Animation, and visual effects.
Just got ready to start a new Star Wars D6 campaign after a 4 year hiatus from RPGs and though "let's see how the gang at the Rancor Pit is doing." I was worried it may have vanished along with so many other sites I once frequented, but am pleased to see it still here. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

Hey, KageRyu, some of us still remember you.
However, I don't remember the projects you were on back in the day. If you've got custom rules then there are a few active venues for displaying those. In the wake of the OpenD6 games you can have those ideas published, and if you're doing your own art it really makes it easy to have nice looking articles put together.
I can give you some details if you want to talk to me off the boards. Feel free to send me a PM! _________________ __________________________________

I can also put some of your files up on D6 Universe if you're willing to share them. |
