I been wondering and i need to know if it is possible to make Trilithium Weapons, Such as Handgun,Energy Staff,Rifle. and another thing. If it is possible to make Trilithium Weapons then is it possible to make bullets then drop the Trilithium in there. _________________ Morpheus Grifullkin

Isn't Trilithium the really cool version of dilithium from Star Trek that was super rare? Or are we talking about a different trilitium? |

Well, as Trilithium does not exist in Star Wars, I would say no. D6 in general, on the other hand, would likely require you to figure out how Trilithium works, and assign stat properties based on it. Essentially, it would be all up to the person creating it, as there is no official D6 source on the substance. |

Trilithium, like Dilithium, and plain old Lithium, really doesn't do a single damn thing except in Star Trek where it apparantly has a function for some reason.
And since the function of Trilithium is as an energy catalyst meant for high powered, sub-atomic nuclear reactions, which we have seen demonstrated as a star destroying device, and energy enhancer for starship engines, explain to me this...
WHY ARE YOU PUTTING IT IN A HANDGUN!!!!!!!!!!... ?
I mean, it's like asking for a Rubidium hand gun. "Hey guys, I wanna take this obscure crystal that only has the purpose of enhancing an energy property... and use a gun to throw it at someone, even though it isn't anywhere near as strong as a bullet!"
Trilithium is just a three based lithium crystal molocule. It can do nothing it does in Star Trek, why the bloody hell are you bringing it up in a STAR WARS MESSAGE BOARD!!! _________________ My backpack has jets!

On the one hand, I'm glad Iknew what you were talking.....one the other hand (slaps forehead)....trilitium in D6?
Well, I have to agree with what's said. If you want to design a new weapon, get blaster repair to 5d and the take (A)blaster engineering, or the equivilant skills.
If you want to discover a new engery source, best luck (short of being a scientist yourself) is to explore unknown space and find a civilization that has done all the leg work for you. You know, finders keepers. |

A blaster dealing damage similar to a thermal detonater....now that would make for a very interesting weapon.
But imagine how expensive ammo would be. |

Well, if your brave (or stupid) you can crank a blaster pistol around there with modifications and jury rigging. Pray you don't roll a 1 on the wild die. |

Oh ya, energy staffs and rifles are way easier to use with trilithium. Handguns are just so.....difficult.....to work with.

Ohh.......wowww......huh?......What happened to the plot? Oh wait, I thought I was watching the plot set-up for Underworld.
Sorry, just had to have some fun now that I know you were kidding.

Well, considering lithium, chemical symbol Li, atomic weight between 6.939 and 6.941 does exsist in reality and is used, among other things, in the making some types of batteries (which actually last longer than dry cell batteries but are more expensive), I'd hardly say it doesn't do a "single damn thing." It's density is half the density of water and reacts with water. When you place it over a flame it gives of a crimsom color but when it is strongly burning it's a brilliant white. the compound Lithium deuteride is the choice fuel for hydgrogen bombs. Lithium alloys are used in making high performance airplane parts. Lithium hydroxide is the prefered alkali hydroxide in removing carbon dioxoide aboard subs and spacecraft. Lithium is even used sometimes in making glass and ceramics. And these are just some of the various uses for Lithium and its compounds. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!
