No problem!
Think Lurk is going to quit complaining about Bri'tan's piloting now? |

Okay, I know that everyone uses a house rule for sensor ranges, but this talk of sensor usage made me realize I don't know what rules we're using. I think most people use a multiplier of either 10 or 100, but I've heard of people multiplying ranges by 1,000, even. Wisconsin_Wookiee, is your house rule just (Listed Range x 10)? Since 10 space units = 1km, that would give us a Passive range of 150 space units, or 15km. If Kage is picking up another vessel at a range of 8km without even running a scan, that works out, but I wanted to make sure. Is this right? If not, and it affects my IC post, I can edit the post---just let me know. _________________ Arek | Kage |

Yep. I tend to read everyone else's post first, then read Bri'tan's right before I post. |

Just wondering what everyone's availability will be over the holiday week. I will be checking the site the rest of this week and posting through Saturday morning. During the early part of next week (26-28 ) I will be visiting family but will still try to get on once a day if I can to check things out.
I know it's early, but Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you! |

I shouldnt have any trouble posting over the holiday. But I understand the need to slow things down for a few days. I've done the same thing with a game I'm running on another site. Have a nice time!
As for the description of the battle, I take it that the unfriendly ships are far enough away to no longer be a threat? |

Yes, for the moment. The disabled freighter is very close yet, but so far has not seemed to be a threat. |

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone from me as well!
I will do my best to check at least a couple times a day. I can't promise anything in that regard, as my actual activities during the week between Christmas and New Year's and the week after New Year's are not yet set in stone. I have vacation the week after New Year's, but I think I'm going to be pretty busy during that week cutting wood and doing other household things. |

I tend to read Kage's info and formulate a post based on that, then go back and read everyone else's before hitting "submit", just in case.
I don't know what my availability will be over the holidays, though it's looking like I'm not going anywhere, so I should be posting at least once a day. The guy that was going to cover for me at work is now expecting a baby this weekend, so I'm up a creek as far as getting to go see my family. Funny how he didn't know about this baby's projected arrival two weeks ago... _________________ Arek | Kage |
