Seen in the Clone Wars series: Octuptarra Droid
Seen in the original Clone Wars Animated series: Chameleon Droid
In reference to the GAR troops, there are Clone Scouts, Clone BARC troopers, Clone Marines, and so on listed here, what of those? |

Added a few of the Clone veriants to the list. I'll go over the wookieepedia list in more detail when I have more time.
The Octuptarra Droid also appears in Ep III. |

Ok, cool.
They're probably similar to the stormtroopers in that most of the stats are the same between specialities, with some additional skills representing their specialized training.
Lokking forward to seeing them!

Yeah, I see the Clone troopers as a slight upgrade on the standard Stormtrooper. After all, the clones were created for the job, where as the Stromtroopers were recruited and trained for the job.
If all goes well, I'll be able to start the next collection this coming weekend.
There really isnt a place on this site for buy/sell/trade, so I'm going to add it to this post.
I recently picked up a cheap copy of the following books:
Galaxy Guide 1: Alien Races (1st edition)
Heir to the Empire Sourcebook
Dark Force Rising Sourcebook
If anyone is interested in either buying or trading for them, PM me. If I dont hear anything in the next couple of days, I'm just going to post them on ebay. |

The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy, so I havent had much time to work on my hobbies. If all goes well, I might have a little time on tomorrow, but Sunday is the first day that I know I'll have a little time.
Right now, my goal is to put together 4-5 sets of Clone stats within about a week. Then I want to put together a baseline for the Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and Droideekas so that everyone will have what they need to play in the Clone Wars era before going back to finish the Clones. |

Sorry its been so long since I've posted anything useful. I've finally started my Grand Army / CIS collections. I've been putting together a baseline for the Clone Troopers this afternoon, hopefully I can put together the Battle Droids & Super Battle Droids over the next couple of days.
For now, here is the baseline Clone Trooper. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on them!
Name: Clone Trooper
Species: Human/Clone
Sex: Male
Dexterity: 3D+1
Blaster 4D+1, Blaster Artillery 3D+2, Brawling Parry 4D, Dodge 4D+1, Grenade 4D
Knowledge: 2D
Survival 3D
Mechanical: 2D+1
Perception: 3D
Strength: 3D+1
Brawling 4D, Stamina 4D+2
Technical: 2D
Move: 10
Equipment: DC-15s Blaster Pistol (3D), DC-15 Blaster Rifle (5D+1), Clone Trooper Armor
Reference: Custom Build
Clone Trooper Armor
Protection: +2D Physical, +1D Energy, +1D to Dexterity and related skills.
Comlink: Tongue-activated helmet comlink.
Body Glove: Climate controlled body glove allows in uncomfortably cold or warm climates.
MFTAS: Multi-Frequency Targeting Acquisition System; adds +1 to Perception checks in low-visibility situations, +1 to ranged weapon skill uses against targets moving more than 10 meters per round; polarized lenses prevent flash-blinding.

Not bad, seems appropriate.
The only issue I have is that the mass produced clone troopers are more skilled than a baseline storm trooper. But then again, I'm a bit of a broken record about my dissatisfaction with the baseline S.T. stats. |

Glad you like them. I figure I will use that for a baseline (Unless someone points out a glaring mistake in the next day or so) then ramp the stats up from there.
How I see it, Clone Troopers were supposed to be bread from superior stock (Jango Fett) and therefore have decent stats. Its obvious from the movies, that Stormtroopers are no longer trained to the same high standards, . . . . |

I think it's just because they spend most of their time shooting at someone with a dodge skill 6D or higher.
Princess Leia: 6D
Chewbacca: 6D
Luke Skywalker: 6D
Han Solo: 8D
But it's no issue for me. I'm just going to use the "Experienced" stats for all Stormtroopers. |

That doesn't explain them missing targets who aren't dodging... To be honest, I haven't really figured out what to do with stormtroopers yet. I do use all the gear they have in their helmets to their advantage, though. _________________ Or that excessively long "Noooooooooo" was the Whining Side of the Force leaving him. - Dustflier

In response to this, I'm re-watching the trilogy. I don't recall anyone "not dodging."
In my games, running and using cover can be considered a "dodge roll." |
