Actually, the sidebar on his armor offers him absolutely no protection for his legs. It says the basic suit covers his head, torso and arms without giving anything to his legs. No where else in the sidebar is it said that his legs are protected.

| Hey, did any body read the comic which pitted Boba Fett against Darth Vader? It had Vader protecting children and Fett attacking on the front cover. I'd like to see the outcome between that contest although in Ep. II Jango doesn't do so well against Obi Wan and later Mace Windu. |
