And don't forget the Galaxy Guide for TPM. Yes, I realize it is not as much of a priority as RotS because of that TPM "Sourcebook" floating around out there, but TPM deserves the full "GG" treatment by this community the same as AotC and RotS. So I would certainly expect TPM GG to get priority over a Clone Wars sourcebook, so I think that pushes the CW book a little further into the afterlife! _________________ *

You know the expression, "Slow and steady as paperwork and taxes", or something like that? I think this work is actually moving slower than that expression. |

Okay, here's a writeup of Giddeon Danu. Is this what you're looking for? On average, I can hit one of these out in about twenty minutes, tops.
Giddean Danu
Giddean Danu began his career modestly on his homeworld of Kuat, the system best recognized for its burgeoning manufacturing shipyard facilities by first becoming Mayor of Kuat City in a popular vote. Open-minded with the best interests of his people at heart, Danu was a supporter of the ideals of the Republic and sought entry into the Galactic Senate.
Becoming a Senator after strong campaigning at a relatively young age, the often grim and humorless Danu was also a strong supporter of the Jedi Order, whom he saw as a necessary component in the continued peace and stability of the galaxy as a whole. However, this staunch belief brought him into conflict with his own people, with the Kuat Drive Yards having profited greatly during the length of the Clone Wars. This opposition saw him nearly recalled twice by Onura Kuat, the venerable matriarch of the Kuat family and director of the Drive Yards themselves.
Danu’s strong opinions on the centralized seat of government also saw him speak out against the growing militarism within the Republic, causing him to form ties to Bail Organa, Mon Mothma and the growing number of Senators opposed to Chancellor Palpatine’s increasing authoritarianism and aggressive policies.
Along with some two thousand other Senators, Danu was a supporter of the Loyalist Committee created by Palpatine himself shortly before the Battle of Geonosis. In an ironic twist, the Committee, charged with cleansing corruption and maintaining loyalty to the Republic, sought to deliver a petition (which became known as The Petition of 2000) to Palpatine near the end of the Clone Wars urging him to give up the emergency powers bestowed upon him at the wars beginning.
Danu did not accompany the delegation that went to Coruscant to deliver the petition; and any fears he may have had regarding the state of the Republic were realized as the newly-formed Imperial Intelligence arrested sixty-three of his of his fellow Senators. In the wake of the Battle of Kashyyk, this was a vital blow to the loyalists and Danu. Many Senators withdrew their signatures in the wake of the arrests, and Onura Kuat was rumored to have had discussions with a senior member of Palpatine’s New Order during a performance of Squid Lake on Coruscant.
The dreams and idealism of the Republic held by Danu were disintegrating around him and also it seemed was his tenure as Senator. (Optional) Not long after this, Danu was killed in what was deemed a ‘tragic accident’ by Tannon Praji, First Minister of Coruscant Ministry of Ingress. Much speculation linked Praji to his mysterious bodyguard Ottegru Grey, but this, along with the memory of Danu’s work, faded quickly into the background.
The optional part I added because the Wiki is ambiguous about his final fate at the hands of Ottegru Grey, but it seemed an appropriate footnote.

Well, fortunately for me one Australian internet is good value at the moment. I think I can pay.

Oh wow. Somehow I missed this post. I'm dealing with two deadlines this week. If I've not replied by Monday give me another bump or a PM.
I'm so sorry, I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm really not, my schedule is just slamming me this week. _________________ __________________________________

There's barely any information on him on Wookiepedia. Where did you get the information? Was he in one of the WotC sourcebooks? Though, even they don't give much info on people. _________________ __________________________________

Ah.
The additional information I got by following links to the other things and people he was associated with, so I just tracked them all down and added what was appropriate and relevant to the entry. So I hit up Tannon Praji, the Petition of the 2000, Ottegru Grey. It took some detective work, but hey, I had time.

It just means you rock. Gry has the final say-so, but I don't see how he's going to find anything wrong with write ups with this quality. _________________ __________________________________

JEREMOCH COLTON
Jeremoch Colton was the pilot of the Tantive IV during the Clone Wars, and had a long record of service in the Royal House of Alderaan. Captain Raymus Antilles, who had overall command of Tantive IV considered Colton to be his mentor .
Colton piloted Tantive IV during its return to Coruscant after Bail Organa's efforts to rescue Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi following the execution of Order 66.
He continued to pilot the ship after the end of the Clone Wars, and having learned the tricks of the trade, planned to retire from active service to teach at the University of Alderaan

CAT MIIN
Cat Miin was the chief aide of Presidente Shu Mai of the Commerce Guild during the final stages of the Clone Wars. The female Gossam , from the world of Castell, was present on Geonosis when Presidente Mai pledged the support of the Commerce Guild to the Separatist Alliance.
During the Clone Wars, Cat Miin oversaw the distribution of raw materials to the Separatist Droid Army.
At the end of the Clone Wars, Cat Miin helped her mistress evacuate Felucia to the Separatist stronghold on Utapau, and later to Mustafar. There, she and Mai were both decapitated by Darth Vader, who had been sent by Darth Sidious to eliminate the members of the Separatist Council. |

Coruscant Rescue Ops
Coruscant Rescue Ops were emergency rescue, clean-up, and fire-fighting teams based on Coruscant that assisted in off-loading, refueling and basic maintenance of the tens of thousands of ships. Each planetary district maintained their own Rescue Op teams. Many Rescue Ops were poorly educated and underpaid, as their work was thought more fitting for droids.
At the higher end of the Rescue Ops were Coruscant's fire-fighting teams; they piloted firespeeders, wore fire and radiation-proof body suits (including bronze helmets), and were equipped with fire-suppression backpacks that fed handheld hose-guns. These teams protected the endless urban sprawl from disastrous fires and explosions.
A member of Fire Team Three pilots an Emergency firespeeder.
During the Clone Wars, many Rescue Op members were drafted into the Republic military and were often be found serving aboard Republic warships. During the Battle of Coruscant, Fire Team Three helped guide the Invisible Hand down when it crashed into an abandoned industrial precinct while extinguishing the flames from the wrecked ship. |
